Williamsbridge gas main break leaves about 350 without gas

THE BRONX - A gas main break in Williamsbridge has left customers without gas service tonight. As of 10 p.m., 350 Con Edison customers have lost gas service.

Officials say the break occurred at East 216th Street and Barnes Avenue at around 1 p.m.

Con Edison says that it will restore service as soon as crews check gas lines at each affected home.
