THE BRONX - With the temperatures dropping and holidays right around the corner, a Bronx organization is giving back to needy veterans with a winter coat drive.

From the Waterfront to The Homefront Foundation teamed up with H&R Block to collect winter coats yesterday. They set up shop in the Dreiser Community Center in Co-op City and accepted donations from anyone who was willing to help.

The coats will be given to the members of the Bronx-based New Era veterans' housing facility, which provides educational and employment assistance.
