THE BRONX - The snow has ended and the clocks spring forward this weekend, but for now, it still feels like winter.

Bronx residents are dealing with the aftermath of Thursday's snowstorm, navigating around and through mounds of snow, slush and even ice. People had to dig themselves out Thursday morning as many vehicles were completely buried.

Everyone is urged to take it slow on the roads, sidewalks, subway steps and platforms, which could be wet and slick. Stick to mass transit and keep the streets open for plows and salt trucks, if possible.

Residents should keep an eye out for melting snow and ice that may fall from the tops of awnings and other structures.

Make sure to dress warm too when heading outside as temperatures won't begin to rise until the weekend. Most say they're counting down the final two weeks before spring finally arrives.
