THE BRONX - Pothole problems have not yet eased up in the Bronx this winter.

A number of roads are in bad shape, giving drivers major headaches as they try to avoid causing damage to their cars. One livery cab driver says he had to call a tow truck after hitting a massive crater on the Grand Concourse.

Many people complain that Zerega Avenue at the Bruckner is among one of the most riddled roadways. Pelham Parkway also has a major pothole problem, especially at Lydig and Cruger avenues.

The Department of Transportation says crews are out in full force citywide trying to repair as many potholes as possible daily, and that it's fixed nearly 88,000 since Jan. 1.
