Woman arraigned in fatal hit-and-run of teenage boyfriend

The 25-year-old woman accused of running down her teenage boyfriend faced a judge on Thursday. Jasmine Diaz, 25, was charged with two counts of manslaughter

THE BRONX - The 25-year-old woman accused of running down her teenage boyfriend faced a judge on Thursday.

Jasmine Diaz, 25, was charged with two counts of manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident after police say she slammed her Lincoln Navigator into 17-year-old Franklyn Hernandez.

The teen was taken to the hospital and later died from his injuries.

Diaz is due back in court next week.
