THE BRONX - The elderly woman found wandering the Grand Concourse Sunday night has been identified as a Riverdale Manor patient.

A staff member at The Riverdale Manor saw the woman's picture and was able to identify her after seeing a broadcast on News 12 The Bronx. Sources say patients are allowed to come and go as they please because the manor is not a nursing home.

Authorities say the woman was picked up outside an apartment building, and could not remember her name or address.

She stayed at St. Barnabas Hospital for four days before Riverdale Manor picked her up Wednesday evening.
