Woman on the run since 1995 caught in the Bronx

THE BRONX - A woman on the run from police for almost 15 years was caught in the Bronx this past weekend.

Police say Patty Carrion was wanted for attempted murder in Meridian, Connecticut in 1995.

Police first took Carrion into custody for a domestic assault on the corner of Sheridan Ave. and East 168th Street. They then figured out she was wanted after using her fingerprints to properly identify her.

Carrion was on 'America's Most Wanted' in 2004 and 2005. She is now awaiting extradition back to Connecticut.
