THE BRONX - A 53-year-old woman slammed the door on a pair of would-be burglars in Tremont.

The NYPD released surveillance video of two men who they say are wanted in connection with an attempted robbery at an apartment building near East 184th Street and Webster Avenue back on May 27.

According to investigators, the suspects tried to enter the woman's apartment by claiming they had a package for her. When she cracked open her door, the men tried to push their way inside, but she was able to shut the door again and the suspects fled.

If you recognize the men or have other information that could help, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
