THE BRONX - Women in hip-hop were celebrated at the Bronx Museum of the Arts Friday.

Organizers said the event was to honor the women who are disproportionately represented in hip-hop culture. 

Dozens came to watch the film "All the Ladies Say," which features dancers, rappers and graffiti artists from all over the country and showcased a film they made about the struggles women in hip-hop face.

Filmmakers say it took nearly 10 years to make.
