Woodlawn Cemetery receives preservation grant

The National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express today announced 16 historic places that received preservation grants as part of the Partners in Preservation

THE BRONX - The National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express today announced 16 historic places that received preservation grants as part of the Partners in Preservation competition. The two teamed up to provide $3 million in funding to preserve historic buildings throughout New York.Woodlawn Cemetery in The Bronx was awarded $150,000 to conserve the exterior of the mausoleum.
