THE BRONX - A new mayoral era promises significant changes will be made in the city of New York as Mayor Bill de Blasio officially takes office.

News 12 decided to talk to viewers about what changes they want to see most as de Blasio sets out on his agenda, and Bronx residents say they have high expectations.

Many are hoping for an improved relationship between communities and police, and more financial assistance for people who want to get an education. Others are pushing for more funding for kids.

De Blasio has said time and again that he wants to unify the city by eliminating gaps in education and income, and now he can finally get to work.
