Auto makers are using new technology to give parents more control over their children’s vehicle.

Ford is rolling out new technology that will allow parents to control the maximum speed of the car and limit the volume on the audio system.

General Motors is letting parents track the location of their child’s car including sending them a text if a teen drives outside of a certain area.
