THE BRONX - News 12 asked Bronx residents how they felt about Michael Bloomberg’s tenure as mayor of New York City.

According to a recent Quinnipiac University poll, 63 percent of city residents believe Bloomberg made the city better during his 12-year run, while 24 percent said he was a failure.

Some Bronx residents told News 12 they believe Bloomberg made the city safer, while others were critical of his decisions.

Many said they were eager to see how Mayor Bill de Blasio does in his new position.
