Gov. Cuomo says he’d sign off on legislation that properly regulates the drug.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday that he'd sign off on legalizing medical marijuana in New York state as long as the legislation "makes sense."

The Senate is currently considering the so-called Compassionate Care Act, and Cuomo said the measure would need to include proper regulation of the drug.
