THE BRONX - Going to see the Mets or Yankees could soon feel like going to the airport, thanks to new league security requirements.

Major League Baseball told its 30 teams to start screening fans with either handheld wands or metal detectors by 2015.

Many Bronx residents who spoke to News 12 The Bronx think the security changes are a good idea. They say added security is good because it's better to be safe and it's all about protecting people at the games.
