THE BRONX - President Barack Obama made some lighthearted jokes about his former smoking habit to a U.N. official.

The conversation was caught on an open microphone, with the president saying he hasn't smoked in probably six years.

The reason? Obama added with a big smile, "That's because I'm scared of my wife."

On the streets of the Bronx, many said they weren't exactly scared enough of their spouses to change their smoking habits.
