THE BRONX - Electronic cigarettes are grabbing the attention of many public health groups who want them better regulated.

The FDA says it wants to prohibit the sale of e-cigarettes to minors and require health warning labels, along with approval for any new products. The battery-powered devices have grown popular over the last couple of years, and officials say they want to slow down the pace of the industry.

Residents told News 12 that they thought minors should be protected from e-cigarettes.
