THE BRONX - A new app is helping parents keep close tabs on their kids in school.

PupilPath gives parents access to their children’s grades, assignments and attendance straight from their iPhone or iPad. They can even message their children's teachers.

News 12 asked Bronx residents what they thought of the app. Most said it was a great tool for parents, but some called it an invasion of privacy.

Statistics show that in New York City alone, users log in to PupilPath more than 1 million times a month.
