THE BRONX - A new study by Cornell University finds that many people take part in mindless snacking during action-packed movies and TV shows.

News 12 hit the streets to see if they snack during movies and TV shows.

One resident said he gets so involved in what he's watching that he is distracted from eating.

Another resident said people tend to snack during dramas to compensate for not knowing what to do with themselves during the buildup of suspense.
