Word on the Street: Snow removal
THE BRONX - Many Bronx residents are complaining about curbs at bus stops that are still covered in snow.
News 12 The Bronx hit the streets to find out what residents have to say about snow removal throughout the borough.
Large mounds of leftover dirty snow can be seen at many bus stops, forcing people to climb over them to board a bus. Many residents say they are displeased with the city's lackluster efforts and wonder how long it will take until the snow is cleared. They think the conditions are dangerous, especially for older people, and wish the snow to be cleared as soon as possible.

The Department of Sanitation says it has dispatched more than 700 workers citywide to clear snow from the stops.
