THE BRONX - The New York Yankees and the New York Mets went head-to-head Monday in the Subway Series.

The Bronx is all about pinstripe pride, and Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. is no different. He made a friendly wager with his counterpart in Queens, Melinda Katz.

The loser will have to send delicacies from their borough to the winner.
