Word on the Street: Vegetable-flavored ice cream
THE BRONX - Popular ice cream brand Haagen-Dazs is launching two new flavors in Japan that will taste like vegetables.
News 12 asked Bronx residents if they'd like to try them. Many said the flavors are too weird of a concept for them to try.
Others said that it's always good to try new things, so they would be willing to give the ice creams a shot.

The two flavors, Tomato Cherry and Carrot Orange, contain half the milk fat of other Haagen-Dazs flavors. The veggie flavors join other unique Haagen-Dazs Japan flavors like Rose and Royal Cassis Milk.
They will be available on May 12, but there are currently no plans to offer the ice creams in the U.S.
