THE BRONX - Beyonce had everyone on social media talking as she took over this year's MTV Video Music Awards. 

The singer performed an epic medley of songs from her newest album, was joined onstage by hubby Jay-Z and their daughter, Blue Ivy, and accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. 

With all the excitement over the Carter family, plus big wins for Katy Perry, Lorde and Ed Sheeran, News 12 hit the streets to see if Bronx viewers tuned in for the big show. 

Many say they were watching, and mentioned performances from Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift as other highlights.
