THE BRONX - Bronx residents are getting set for one of the year's biggest sporting events with the World Cup preparing to kick off tomorrow.

Papa Doumdia, who is originally from the Ivory Coast, says his split loyalties led him to buy two jerseys.

"U.S.A. is (a) good country for me and my family, so I'm happy they made it to the World Cup," Doumdia says.

The global football tournament begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow when Mexico takes on host nation South Africa.
