Would you know it? Summer's here

THE BRONX - Although no one would know it by looking out the window, Sunday marks the first day of summer.

A season meant for T-shirts, shorts and sunglasses, instead brought people out wearing sweatshirts, boots and holding umbrellas.

The colder weather means businesses that rely on people wanting to cool down from the heat are struggling more than usual, owners say.

Rain has poured down on the region almost every day this month, with just a handful of days that were rain-free.

Bronx residents say they just hope it turns around quick and summer-like weather returns by the end of the month.
