THE BRONX - The New York Yankees formally introduced their new pitcher Masahiro Tanaka at a press conference today.

Many teams coveted the pitcher, who had 24 wins and zero losses in the Japanese league last season. Tanaka signed a seven-year, $155 million contract with the Yankees.

Tanaka is expected to join the rest of the team's pitchers and catchers in Tampa, Fla. Friday for spring training.
