THE BRONX - Patients at St. Barnabas Hospital received a furry visitor today.

Zuzu, a Siberian Husky and certified therapy dog, was rescued from a shelter. His owner says he knew from the time Zuzu was a puppy that he would make a great therapy dog.

All the patients fell in love and played with Zuzu throughout the day.

The hospital says therapy dogs have healing benefits, such as helping people calm down and improving their mood.

St. Barnabas says Zuzu will be visiting patients every two weeks, and the hospital hopes to bring in more dogs.
