(09/07/12) Charlotte, N.C. - President Obama and Vice President Biden accepted their party's nominations at the Democratic National Convention last night.

Both Obama and Biden explained to the nation why they deserve to be re-elected. Obama said, "You didn't elect me to tell you what you wanted to hear. You elected me to tell you the truth...Truth is, it will take more than a few years for us to solve challenges that have built up over decades. But know this, America: Our problems can be solved. Our challenges can be met."

In one of the most poignant moments of the entire convention, former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords led the pledge of allegiance.
