Police: Woman went on rampage inside Bronx pet store

A woman went on a rampage inside a pet store in the Bronx, knocking over items and breaking a glass fish tank with fish inside, according to police.

It happened on July 20, around 6:40 p.m., inside a pet store on Crosby Avenue.

Police say the woman came into the store unprovoked and began making threats.

According to officials, she told store employees, "Black lives matter, I'm coming back with people, you will see," before pushing over various items around the store including treats, a glass fish tank, pet food and other supplies on the shelves. Store employees say she caused $300 in damage.

She is described as being 26 years old and 160 pounds, with brown hair and a medium skin tone.

She was last seen wearing black sweatpants, black shoes and a black tank top.

Police say no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
