(AP) - The New York Police Department says the body of a 30-year-old woman who was last seen heading out for a jog has been found in a Queens marsh.

Police say they were called for a report of a missing person who was last seen leaving her home around 5 p.m. Tuesday for a jog in Howard Beach. The NYPD says the body of Karina Vetrano was found in a marsh hours later with no obvious signs of trauma.

The city's medical examiner's office is working to determine the cause of death. 

The circumstances surrounding Vetrano's death are under investigation.
