Residents help each other while elevator is out

A broken elevator at an old Bronx building is bringing residents closer together.

Many neighbors at 38 Featherbed Lane say that they are looking out for one another while their building's elevator has been out of service.

"There's other neighbors that come and they see us, they see me and they come and they help me all the way upstairs. Even the young ones," says Marisol Rivera.

According to building management, it could be two more weeks before the elevator is completely fixed.
