Residents turn in guns for cash at gun buyback
Bronx residents turned in their guns in exchange for cash this weekend. 
The buyback event allows those who turned in their guns to remain completely anonymous.
The Bronx District Attorney Office held event at two locations: Evangelical Garifuna Church on Brook Avenue and Fellowship Tabernacle Church of God in Christ on East Gun Hill Road.
Gun owners were required to bring their guns in a plastic bag or box, and place their guns in their truck when driving to buyback locations.
Resident received cash after the gun was inspected and deemed to be a working gun.
Those taking part in the program were allowed to return as many guns as they wished, but were only paid for the first three.
