Officials urge caution amid heat wave
Officials are warning Bronx residents to be cautious and stay cool as the excessive heat warning remains in effect Sunday.
The high temperatures can be especially dangerous for young people, senior citizens and pets.
Officials suggest people stay cool by going to places with air conditioning, limiting strenuous activities and staying hydrated throughout the day.
Cooling centers are also operating with extended hours again Sunday for those without air conditioning.
