Bronx movie star returns to his Highbridge home

Bronx native and actor Marc John Jefferies was back at home with his parents on Monday.

The 26-year-old, who grew up in Highbridge, has appeared in movies like "Losing Isaiah," "Big Momma's House," "Notorious" and, most recently, "Nerve."

In addition to acting, Jefferies has started his own acting school with about 40 students. He says he is also starting an economic empowerment tour.

Jefferies' father has been his manager since the beginning of his career, and his mother is a longtime teacher in the Bronx.

Jefferies says he has three more movies coming out within the next year.
