Family frantically searches for missing Parkchester man
It's been one week since the disappearance of a 24-year-old Bronx man, and there is still no sign of him.
Relatives have posted more than 100 missing person fliers for Rawn Holland all over their Parkchester neighborhood.
His mother says he left their home last Saturday with his cellphone and wallet, but no keys. Later that day, a family member spotted him about a mile away near a park, but didn't know to stop and ask him questions at the time.
His mother says Holland was diagnosed with depression years ago and may be in need of medication.
"Every time I hear the doorbell ring, I think maybe it's Rawn," his mother says. "It hurts my heart to know my baby is out there, and I don't know if he needs help or how to go get him, but I trust God and I know God will help me, and finally someone will bring him home or lead to where he is right now."
His mother says Rawn's cellphone appears to be dead, but police are still trying to track it.
The NYPD has issued a missing person alert. Anyone with information is urged to call them.
