Thief breaks into barbershop through wall

A burglar broke into a new Bronx business last month by busting a hole through the wall, police say.

Surveillance video taken on Aug. 19 at A. Rodriguez Barbershop on 174th Street in West Farms shows the intruder stealing a TV and haircutting tools worth an estimated total of $3,000 to $4,000, according to the shop owner Ariel Rodriguez.

"Three or four months, and already we are being robbed," Rodriguez says. "That's not right."

Police have released an image of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
