Trio dressed as construction workers breaks into home

A resident in Soundview says three men disguised as construction workers broke into his home last month.

Samuel Miranda says he was on vacation when the trio used a ladder to break into the two-family home.

They then allegedly ransacked the residence and made their way down to the basement, where they saw and pulled a gun on Miranda's downstairs neighbor.

"I was scared. I'm still scared because I don't know if they're going to come back or something, you never know," Miranda says.

Miranda says his neighbor was so shaken up by the break-in that he moved out soon after.

Miranda says that he plans on moving his family to a new neighborhood by the end of the month.
