P.S. 49 gets mini soccer field from NYCFC
The New York City Football Club helped kick off the school year at P.S. 49 by visiting students on the new soccer field there.
NYCFC, along with Major League Soccer Works, the United States Soccer Foundation and Southern New Hampshire University teamed up to build the so-called mini-pitch -- a smaller version of a soccer field.
Students say they're pumped for recess and after-school soccer.
The professional players spent part of Wednesday coaching kids at the sport.
