Man impersonates NYPD officer in the Bronx, attempts to coax woman into sex
Police are looking for a man who impersonated a police officer and attempted to coax an 18-year-old woman into performing a sex act on him inside a Bronx subway station.
It happened on Aug. 30 around 7:40 p.m. inside the subway station on Westchester Avenue and Grant Circle in Parkchester.
Police say the man stopped the 18-year-old woman and informed her that he was a cop and accused her of illegally entering the subway.
According to police, the man threatened to issue the woman a summons unless she performed oral sex on him.
The woman declined and ran away, police say.
The man was captured on surveillance video entering the subway.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
