Forum on domestic violence held at Hostos Community College

An open discussion regarding domestic violence was held Friday at Hostos Community College.

The talk sought to connect advocates, victims and service providers to better identify and solve issues facing domestic violence victims.

"I want them to feel that their experiences are being validated, that their voices are being heard," said Terry Lawson of Bronx Legal Services.

The conversation focused on issues like immigration status, housing and underserved communities.
