Preservationists from Woodlawn Cemetery are attempting to save the grounds' most unique mosaic. 

A glass mosaic made by Tiffany in the middle of the cemetery is beginning to fall apart. The mosaic shows an angel guiding a woman to heaven. The preservationists want to restore it to its original 1914 appearance.

 

After decades of being exposed to the elements, bits and pieces of the mosaic are missing. 

Art historians are working to fill in the missing pieces with Tiffany glass.
