Children of fallen FDNY chief throw first pitch at NL Wild Card game

The New York Mets honored the family of fallen FDNY Battalion Chief Michael Fahy, of Yonkers, last night.

Fahy's three kids, including son Michael, threw out the first pitch at the National League Wild Card game against the San Francisco Giants. The team even presented the family with jerseys bearing the number 19 -- Fahy was the chief of Battalion 19 in the Bronx. Also, a moment of silence was held before the game .

Battalion Chief Fahy was killed in a Bronx house explosion last week.

The Mets lost to the Giants 3-0, and the Giants will move on to NL Division Series versus the Chicago Cubs.
