Police ID man killed on Leland Avenue

Police have identified a man who was killed on Leland Avenue on Saturday evening.



Officials say that 56-year-old Enrique Ruiz was heard screaming from his apartment after someone gained entry and attacked him.



They say Ruiz died from a blunt force trauma to the head.



Authorities say the suspect went down the fire escape and fled the location. The suspect was said to be wearing a Yankees baseball cap, gray jacket and jeans.
