Man accused of robbing bar employee at gunpoint in the Bronx

Police have released a picture of a man they say robbed a woman at gunpoint who was working inside a pub in the Bronx.

It happened Tuesday at around 12:50 p.m. inside Keanes Bar and Restaurant at 4342 Katonah Avenue.

They say the suspect approached a 25-year-old female employee, displayed a gun and demanded money.

The employee listened to the man and he ran away with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police say she was not hurt. Neighbors say the bar only opened a month ago and they were shocked to hear that it had already been robbed.

The man is described as being between 40 and 50 years old, 5'10"-6'0" tall, 180 pounds and has salt and pepper hair, light colored jeans and a gray t-shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
