$50K in donations boost Kingsbridge school’s tech plans
A Kingsbridge school received 25 new Apple computers Wednesday thanks to $50,000 in donations from alumni.
St. John's School officials say they are in the process of building a state-of-the-art technology center that is due to be completed next year.
The new computers are just a part of that plan.
The computers are being used in addition with other technology upgrades like Google Classroom.
Google Classroom allows students to do all of their work by using the computers in class or do their homework from any computer they have access to. The goal is to prepare the kids for the future with computer knowledge.
The school originally set out to raise $25,000, but received twice as much money in donations.
