Police are investigating a homicide that happened outside the Mott Haven Houses early Sunday morning.
Officials found 28-year-old Kevin Thomas with numerous gunshot wounds to the torso when they arrived at 350 East 143rd St.
They say Thomas was shot near Willis Avenue shortly before 2 a.m.
He was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and there have been no arrests at this time.
