Some NFL stars laced up their cleats Tuesday for a good cause.
The New York Jets sponsored a PAL Cops and Kids program in conjunction with the NYPD.
The goal of the event at Fordham University was to increase positive relations between police and the community, with a specific focus on youth.
Players Taiwan Jones, Wesley Johnson and Marcus Williams helped the cause by coaching alongside officers.
Organizers say the Bronx gets the largest turnout in the Cops and Kids program. There are roughly 200 kids in the Bronx program in total.
