Winners of Bronx state Assembly, state Senate races
Elected officials took their bows in the Bronx after a hard-fought election session.
Among the winners in the state Senate were Jose M. Serrano in District 29, Ruben Diaz in District 32, Gustavo Rivera in District 33, Jeffery Klein in District 34 and Jamaal Bailey in District 36.
Winners in the state Assembly included Latoya Joyner in District 77, Jose Rivera in District 78, Michael Blake in District 79, Mark Gjonaj in District 80, Jeffrey Dinowitz in District 81, Michael Benedetto in District 82, Carmen Arroyo in District 84, Marcos Crespo in District 85, Victor Pichardo in District 86 and Luis Sepulveda in District 87.
A majority of voters in the Bronx casted their ballots for Hillary Clinton in the presidential race.
