Morris Heights residents ask city to fix abandoned park
Morris Heights residents say they are asking the city to fix an abandoned park on Davidson Avenue.
The park has been closed down for years and is filled with glass, trash, graffiti and missing and broken playground pieces.
Neighbors say the area has been neglected for a long period of time and is considered an eyesore in the community.
The property is currently owned by the Administration for Child Services. It says it is actively working with the community, stakeholders and sister city agencies to determine whether the area can be transformed into a public space.
