Last-minute shoppers were out in the borough Wednesday making sure they had everything they needed ahead of Thanksgiving.
News 12 visited Fine Fare supermarket at Westchester and Fteley avenues to find the store crowded with shoppers getting their Thanksgiving essentials.
A manager at the supermarket says that coming in as early as possible was key to beating the evening rush. Many items sold out, such as the sweet potato and pumpkin pies.
The store will be open early on Thanksgiving at 7 a.m. for anyone else looking to do some last minute shopping.
